One of the Leading vendors of telecom solutions for mobile operators is seeking a Support Engineer to join the expanding Global team. Our company sicap AG has headquarters in Switzerland and branches all around the world.

This vacancy is open in Russian office and successful candidate will be based in Moscow.

As Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering support for the company clients. This will include software problems troubleshooting and problem solving, communication with software developers with customer.


  • To support VAS solutions for mobile operators
  • To resolve problem effectively and expeditiously to maintain customer satisfaction and relationships


  • Good knowledge in software engineering practices
  • Have on-hands approach and the ability to work with cross-team for problem resolution
  • Experienced in VAS system administration


  • 1-st level support for customers in Russia and CIS countries (business trips up to 25% of time)
  • Troubleshooting of problems declared by customer, escalation of problems to higher support levels
  • Participate in on-site support for customers and be the first contact point for customer support
  • Applications installation, planned SW/HW upgrades
  • Participation in roll-out projects
  • On-site support


  • OS: Solaris/Linux.
  • DB: Oracle, MySQL.
  • Programming languages - Java, Perl, Shell scripting
  • Protocols and technologies: GSM/GPRS, EDGE, SS7, HTTP, SNMP, SMPP, TCP/IP, LAN configuration and VPN
  • Applications administration experience
  • Intermediate English


  • Experience with VAS system administration and installation
  • 3+ years application support and maintenance experience in Telecom environment
